Audi A1 Test Drive Featuring DTM Champ Markus Winkelhock

Audi A1 Review OZCAR brings you another car in motion, watch the video of the brand new Audi A1.

However, I personally don’t like the black A1 in this video, as in my opinion it won’t be attracting the target consumers as much as the videos of MINI, Fiat 500 and the MiTo did in bright colours.

For premium compact cars like this, bright colours are always appreciated and enhance the vehicle. The photos that Audi released for the A1 in red for their press kit were more apt than this video in which A1 is giving a boring look in black.

Audi A1 details

Audi describes that the A1’s electrohydraulic power steering has a very direct 14.8:1 ratio. The chassis uses MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear. A1 will feature an ESP system that also has an electric diff lock feature in every model, similar to what Volkswagen and BMW has in their Golf GTI and MINI Cooper S. Winkelhock commented after the test drive that the car was very agile and the handling remains neutral even longer thanks to the electronic diff through corners.
