The Subaru Legacy concept will make its debut in the 2009 Detroit MotorShow in the US. The expectations are hight over the vehicle as its new design cues will be the basis for the 2010 release of the all new Subaru Legacy AWD.
The concept car's grand unveiling marks the 20th year of the Subaru Legacy. In the two decades that the Legacy has existed, it has had 3 makeovers, 4th one being come 2010. From the only released official picture we can see that its bold stance and wide grill maintain the fierce legacy of the... well Legacy. Daytime running LED lights and an aggressive hood add a touch of menace to the AWD vehicle and give us a hint that the new Subaru will continue to uphold its pedigree of being a monstrous performance machine.
The engine will also include a CC upgrade to 3.6L thus sharing its bigger SUV brother's guts, yes we are talking about the Subaru Tribeca SUV. More details along with new pictures will be released closer to the 2009 Detroit Auto show so keep watching.
